When the goal is to create a new home base for Visit Turku Archipelago, it naturally comes to mind to explore how far the interior design of the new office can be implemented with local forces. The walls of the office’s new premises have seen a lot, the magnificent high rooms and original details on the upper floor of Svenska Teatern already created a cozy atmosphere from the start. The brief hoped for a relaxed, easily approachable atmosphere and a table around which everyone could fit. The shades were dictated by Virtasen Maalitehdas from Parainen, whose delicious color chart, aptly named after the islands, provided a shade for every space. In addition, a carpenter from Naantali, a furniture designer from Turku, dishes from Kustavi and Muurla, textiles from Turku, lamps from Kaarina, and acoustic expertise from Naantali were utilized in the premises. The area’s flea markets and recycling centers were also thoroughly scoured to add layers to the interior. If something could not be found locally, it was sought at least domestically.
Working with Hansakortteli was smooth, the common goal for everyone was clear – to emphasize the beautiful space and create a pleasant environment for working. Thank you Visit Turku Archipelago for the opportunity to be part of your journey <3.
Nothing found.
