Logomon Kitchen restaurant update

Logomo has always meant a good feeling in my mind, time has been spent there with hands in the air and in a good mood. So it was great to receive an invitation to update the premises of Logomo’s Kitchen restaurant. The goal was to refresh and clarify the restaurant hall with minor changes, while the kitchen underwent a real update. The space is an old VR Machine Shop, so it has its own roughness and texture. The mood board emphasized this history, but softened it by adding shades and materials, and by cutting out unnecessary elements. As much of the old as possible was preserved, the benches were re-upholstered and the tables got new tops from Timberwise’s Twise collection. Otherwise, we were in the vicinity: Sarokas’s door was busy and beautiful, sufficiently large ceiling lights were acquired from B.Living. For paint colors, we naturally relied on the local Virtanen paint factory, and table lamps were found at Noortrade. Plates were acquired jointly from local flea markets. Almost all purchases were made within 70km of Kitchen!

The end result of the collaboration was a warm, versatile restaurant where the atmosphere can easily change from day to evening. A hall that matches the incredible level of food of Kristian Karnell and his team, who are at the helm in the kitchen. Thank you for letting me be a part of Logomo’s story!
