At the end of 2022, I received a request to help the Finnish wind power operator, Winda Energy Oy, move to larger premises. The goal was to create representative spaces for an energetic, good-humored, and growing team for working and meeting clients. Existing furniture was surveyed, reupholstered, and new domestic pieces were acquired to match the old ones whenever possible. A few vintage finds and space for art were also included. This project also involved many skilled professionals, partners, and a team from the client’s side that created a good atmosphere. In addition to domesticity and vintage treasures, I was inspired by the permission to use strong colors.
“It has truly been a pleasure to collaborate with Sisse, who genuinely radiates positive energy. After getting to know Sisse, a connection was immediately formed, and communication was instant, like with a good friend. Her design projects are characterized by Sisse’s incredible richness of ideas, the atmosphere of the space, and a bold eye for color.” Tiina Tahkokorpi, interior architect, Lepo Product Oy
“We implemented the interior design of our new office with Sisse, and the collaboration went excellently. At the beginning of the project, we defined that we wanted the office to reflect us and be inviting. It was also important for us to utilize existing furniture, and they indeed got a new life after being reupholstered.
Sisse has a good eye for colors and details, and our office has many delicious details. The space division has been wonderfully implemented with different colored walls, and the overall impression is still calm and functional. The kitchen also underwent a complete renovation with the move, and Sisse designed a functional and wonderfully warm-spirited kitchen for us.
I believe that our employees enjoy the office, and the office utilization rate is high also thanks to the high-quality design. Our office receives compliments from external visitors almost without exception every time someone visits for the first time.
Sisse took good note of our various development suggestions or change requests, and we have continued the development work of the office, e.g., regarding acoustics, and we will certainly continue our cooperation when the move to larger premises becomes relevant.” Silja Huhtaluoma, Winda Oy
