Wine not festival?

When going to a festival for the first time, the best thing to do is choose your company carefully. The company for Kelkkaprojekti’s first festival summer in 2022 was Viinitie, X-Berg wines and Rosecco Prosecco – it’s safe to say we chose our company perfectly. The summer was bubbly and fresh! The Viinitie crew asked us to decorate the X-Berg wine’s lodging at Sideways, Tuska, and Pori Jazz. We took Viinitie’s green brand color, X-Berg’s black and white elegance, and a touch of red from Rosecco Prosecco as our guiding principles. We created an oasis for each festival area, partly with Viinitie’s own furniture, illuminated by small light sources, and there was no rush to leave.

In addition, we offered festival-goers shelter from both the scorching sun and summer rain with the porch swings we designed for this occasion. Of course, we had the queen of floristry, Arteflos, to help with the decoration. People found their way from afar, as there was a large light arrow on the X-Berg container guiding everyone to the destination. And all the hauling and much more was, of course, handled by Mika and Tommi from MH System Oy.

We also wanted to offer something to visitors of the X-Berg oasis that would remind them of this better wine culture atmosphere even after the festivals. We invited Heart Shaped Studio, which guided the party people in making their own X-Berg-themed bracelet. The atmosphere at the jewelry workshop was wonderful – full of new friends and color combinations!

When the summer sun was only a memory, we continued with Viinitie in January for wine tasting. Viinitie’s own Planet of the Grapes at Tavastia filled the halls, and we were responsible for the visual atmosphere – otherwise, the atmosphere was warm thanks to the happy visitors and wine professionals. Our first festival summer had a particularly fun and functional group, so we continued with the same crew and roughly the same concept for summer 2023 as well!

Kelkkaprojekti has designed for us the biggest festival areas of the summer, our own events, and also our office. Cooperation with Kelkkaprojekti has always been very enjoyable. Kelkkaprojekti listens carefully to our wishes and visions and helps us understand what all is possible to implement. They also had many of their own very creative suggestions, which proved to be very successful. Kelkkaprojekti clearly has an eye for beautiful and functional decoration and they know how to utilize space in the best possible way.
