What would Carrie do?

Wonderful old house details in Viiskulma, intoxicatingly high and beautiful high heels, and a resident who could be made into a movie. These were the starting points for the project I was invited to dive into. The resident’s personal shopper Ulla Hirvas brought Kelkkaprojekti along when the word “pipe renovation” was mentioned. The task was to renovate the bathroom and kitchen in connection with the pipe renovation, and at the same time update the other rooms of the apartment. The brief hoped for a bit of New York in Viiskulma, but with a softer touch. We tackled the task room by room, and shade by shade. In the kitchen, the old frames were preserved, everything in the bathroom was renewed. A functional but atmospheric remote work station was created in the bedroom, and a touch of always necessary playfulness was brought to the living room with a high heel shelf.

No place is as important as home, and when a busy job takes you away, the best thing to do in that situation is to hand over the project to a competent, enthusiastic, reliable and fun team who understand you and carry your pearl through the renovation with you to a wonderful result. Competent nice people secured my biggest project and we also got to laugh together – a lot – lovely Pearls ourselves.
